When you enter Cooley Law School Stadium, there is no doubt it was build for America’s favorite past time – baseball.

The stadium is home to the Class A Midwest Minor League team the Lansing Lugnuts. The Lugnuts are affiliates of the Toronto Blue Jays and an outstanding organization that has seen many of the players graduate to the Majors.

The Crosstown Showdown is the area's premiere Exhibition Game featuring the Class-A Midwest Minor League Lansing Lugnuts vs. Michigan State University Baseball.

Michigan State Baseball also plays select games at Cooley Law School Stadium. A complete list of MSU baseball games, including those at the stadium, can be found here.

Homerun for HOPE, a high school baseball tournament benefitting the HOPE scholarship program, also takes place at Cooley Law School Stadium. Featuring three Lansing School District baseball teams and a guest team, this tournament showcases local athletic talent while building a scholarship fund for Lansing youth. Proceeds from Home Run for HOPE benefit the HOPE Scholarship fund where more than $40,000 has been raised to date.

The Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic is the premier high school invitational tournament in the Lansing area. Pairing the best against the best, this weekend-long event typically takes place in late May, early June.
